Red lights on inside of door???

Hey...I've had my 370Z for about 3 weeks now and I have not yet seen those little red lights on the (bottom) inside of the door come on. What are

Hey...I've had my 370Z for about 3 weeks now and I have not yet seen those little red lights on the (bottom) inside of the door come on. What are they for? Is it some European thing like the rear fog light?
