went to custom import arts and tom emptied the brake fluid tank thing and pumped the brakes empty and all that **** and filled it up with DOT 5.1 brake fluid for free.

drove around for a hour and it seems like its solved and I wonder, but is it possible that my brakes work better now compared to the previous brake fluid or is it just my mind playing tricks.

Any time you bleed the brake system it fill usually feel better for a while as any air bubbles that developed are removed from the system. So even replacing with cheapo brake fluid you experience a temporary improvement, but with better brake fluid you pedal will stay feeling solid for longer.

Yes, 5.1 is the current top spec (highest boiling point).

pretty awesome for him to give me that stuff for free.

but then again we just told him that we are taking the Z and GT-R to him for maintenance instead of the dealership + bought amuse vestito + repaint of the car depending on the price + potential twin turbo setup installed when they take out the engine to paint the engine bay....IF we repaint

edit: I read the tag for this topic.

I lolled hard.
