No digital speedo in the 370?
Who else is a little upset the 370s didnt incorporate the digital speedo in the info panal? In the 350s, it was nice to look slightly over to your right and see the amber numbers change .Don't get me wrong I like all the rest of the info the cluster has. Just thought they wouldn't take away a nice option like a digital speedo. maybe they did away with that digtal feature cause it was inaccurate maybe? I always liked having both..now I have 1. :shakes head:

It would have been nice to have a digital readout option.
BTW, watch out for the forum's street racing rules. |
You're not the only one upset about the speedo, and what about tire pressure.
Use to be able to check all 4 tires w/an alarm for low tire pressure. Now only alarm for low tire pressure. Doesn't make sense to me that with the type of car/tires we have, you are no longer able to check individual tire pressure. |
It would have been nice if they preserved the analog look of the gauge cluster at the steering wheel and provided the digital options where they did on the 350Z. I think it would have satisfied the look of the interior and provided the options everyone wanted.

Yes! They should have added the digital speedometer and tire pressure gauge to the 370.
I loved those features in the 350. |
Think of it this way. A digital gauge requires you to comprehend the exact number. An analog dial can be interpreted in a glance without having to comprehend the exact number. Digital takes more thought albeit only a little. I much prefer the analog and get annoyed with caddys and towncars that project the digital.
As for the individual tire pressures, I was annoyed at first. But then it dawned on me that swapping tires grime side to side would F up the system. So I'm happy I have the less specific monitoring system. |
Repost!
:facepalm: There are a lot of thread about this topic! |

I wasn't so worried about the speedo as I have a real reading from my GPS/speed camera device. What I miss from the my 350Z is the analogue fuel gauge.
Never mind, I just like way the scenery suddenly goes blurry when you plant your right foot ;) |

The actual pressure TPMS would be really nice as well. |

What I love most about the 350 is all analog gauges. My only gripe with the 370 is that dorky 3rd robot gauge. They should have upgraded from that digital readout you guys are talking about to a hud. Either way though, both Z's are hott. :tiphat: |
