Next Gen Z

So i was on the internet and was like hmm wonder if there is anything out there yet on the next gen concept when i found this article

Mercedes-Benz-Powered Nissan Z - Car News - RoadandTrack.com

not sure how true or accurate this article is but please lets hear your thought, thanks.

Wow, definitely not the direction I was expecting, but it will be interesting to see how this actually turns out

LuckyJinx 12-24-2010 03:19 PM

Stupid.

ClemsonWill 12-24-2010 03:27 PM

A diesel or hybrid. really? I hope this doesn't happen! If it does I may get back on the corvette train.

spearfish25 12-24-2010 04:26 PM

It's simple, ridiculous conjecture. Why would Nissan turn their only consumer sports car into a hybrid or diesel? No way. Maybe MAYBE a selectable option but not the only model.

:wtf2:

murphman 12-24-2010 07:27 PM

haha comments seem to be the same as those found at the bottom of the article

The car shown looks closer to an altima coupe than a Z. If the engine is anything less than a 3.7 Nissan should drop the number from the name and just call it the Z.

Do none of you guys ever watch racing (not NASCAR). There are a lot of hybrids and diesels running and the diesels for sure are blowing peoples doors off. Audi and Peugot have monster diesel cars in the ALMS.

repost... but uhm if it happens our cars will go up in $$ due to pure sport car
