I think a big part of the appeal of the 370z, or the z series in general is that it is a muscle car without the big V8. IMO.
I grew up on Saabs... 4 cyl turbo, and loved the power on demand and the fuel efficiency when driving on cruise... if the 370z went into 4.9L then as said earlier, just go Mustang? as i said, just my opinion, I think a TT option in the future on the 3.7 would satisfy the power hungry demographic |
