So double upside down. With that factored in - 2k down, lease for 48 and 625 on a 52k roadster. Not bad really. Oh -and when i get the check for 12k for my diminished value it will all be worth it.

Not apples to apples. Base vs sport vs touring vs sport touring vs nav with all vs roadster base vs ZR touring vs tour with sport... there could be up to almost a 20k difference. hence the variance. I'm on car #49 so paying cash is silly for me - i trade every 6 months to year with a few exceptions. If I decide I want to keep this after a year - I'll just write a check.

That is insane...54K for a car that will be worth 15K maybe 18K in 5 years.
Plus insurance full coverage, because it's financed.
That is a freaking house payment.
