Only 20 months and it finally came!
I've had this on order from Courtesy Parts since I bought my car in 3/2009. Last week I was browsing their site and happened to see that it was finally "in stock but supplies are limited". A quick phone call and I got the last one. Holy crap, these are hard to get a hold of! It's the 9ml touch-up pen that has both paint and clear coat applicators. Platinum graphite K51.

I think that some aftermarket products that have been mentioned in threads do a much better job!
check out Dr. colorchip it looks very impressive from the pics I have seen, also herd great reviews! I will be getting some for the spring for both my vehicle and the womans.... |

We'll see how it works. Dr. Color Chip is relatively cheap too so I can give both a try.
Does the Dr. Colorchip K51 have the metallic glitter in it? This pen from Nissan looks exactly like the OEM paint with all the metallic glitter (probably because it is the OEM paint).

I have a small (1/4") scratch on the bottom portion of the side skirts or whatever you wanna call them. It's hardly noticeable and on the bottom when you really have to look hard to find. I got this one from my local dealer but it's like a nail polish brush and a crappy ball point.
The guy in the shop said to use a toothpick instead of the brush but that didn't work. I wiped it off fast right after I applied it. Maybe I'll get the one you have. |

No, it doesn't apply in a thin enough streak to fill this scratch, even using a tooth pick or the ball point it was gloppy. It would look worse than the actual scratch itself if I let it dry. I basically need to fill a scratch that is razor thin...

If you don't feel comfortable don't, or find someone with experience who can help you. But if it didn't go through the clear you might just be able to polish it out, or you could wet sand it, to see if you can get it out. Then if needed use a small paint brush to fill the scratch with the touchup paint, let it dry and wet sand it again. Then polish it up back to a shine.

Yeah it's def through the clear coat so needs to be filled in. It's on the very bottom piece of the rear drivers side quarter panel. For example, looking at the pic in your sig, it's below the piece of the door sill that bulges out and in front of the rear wheel...I have all winter to perfect my technique! I'm not a retard, I think I just need a thinner brush maybe from a crafts store or something. The brush supplied with the one I have is exactly like a nail polish brush, way too big.
