1. Turn the ignition from OFF to ON, you don't have to start the car for this. Just press the start button until it gets to the ON state, usually OFF > ACC > ON.
2. The airbag light should turn on, wait until it turns off (it should stay on for 7 secs and then turn off) and then turn the ignition to OFF within 1 second.
3. Wait more than 3 seconds after the ignition turns OFF.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3, twice. (Total 3 times)

In the 350z forum the first response post would have asked for pics of the wife....lol.

Good luck with the reset.

If the reset does not do the trick (and you nailed the timing), many Z owners who removed seats end up taking them to the dealer to have the airbag code reset. That sucks though, was she ok after that?

damn, consider yourself lucky if you did not unplug the battery before unplugging/plugging the side airbag. thing could've deployed in your face causing serious injury.

Wow this is epic! It happened to me with the 350Z. I was unfortunate enough to have to take a really drunk girl back to her apartment. A few times she stuck her head out to throw up. After dropping her off I found myself washing my car at 5AM. Thankfully, she didn't throw up inside the car.

I'm pretty sure they were just asking for nice looking pics of your wife, not vomiting pics... although I wouldn't put it passed some people here...
