VOMIT inside my 370z I NEED HELP

:barf:Last saturday my wife and I went out to the club and she drink too much on the way home with out notification she move to the side and start vomiting when I finaly stop I open her door but it was too late she done by then. we finaly make it to home I give her a shower bla bla bla. when I start clining the car (4 am) all the vomit was under the seat. next morning I take the seat off for better clining. don't worry all odor and vomit its gone after 2 days clining but my PROBLEM IS THE PASSANGER AIR BAG i disconet three cables under the seat when I took it off. with the seat off the <passanger air bag off light> was flashing on my dash board. yesturday Iput the seat back on and the light still flashing and the airbag is all the time off. all the cables are plug in the exact way it was I double check. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW PLEASE HELP ME

1. Turn the ignition from OFF to ON, you don't have to start the car for this. Just press the start button until it gets to the ON state, usually OFF > ACC > ON.
2. The airbag light should turn on, wait until it turns off (it should stay on for 7 secs and then turn off) and then turn the ignition to OFF within 1 second.
3. Wait more than 3 seconds after the ignition turns OFF.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3, twice. (Total 3 times)

thanks im going to try it now

In the 350z forum the first response post would have asked for pics of the wife....lol.

Good luck with the reset.

christian370z 12-22-2010 07:02 PM

If the reset does not do the trick (and you nailed the timing), many Z owners who removed seats end up taking them to the dealer to have the airbag code reset. That sucks though, was she ok after that?

kenchan 12-22-2010 07:13 PM

damn, consider yourself lucky if you did not unplug the battery before unplugging/plugging the side airbag. thing could've deployed in your face causing serious injury.

SOLRAC 12-22-2010 07:17 PM

You're welcome

DIGItonium 12-22-2010 07:20 PM

Wow this is epic! :) It happened to me with the 350Z. I was unfortunate enough to have to take a really drunk girl back to her apartment. A few times she stuck her head out to throw up. After dropping her off I found myself washing my car at 5AM. Thankfully, she didn't throw up inside the car.

SOLRAC 12-22-2010 07:25 PM

She is ok now. But when she realice that she thowup she start to cry telling me IM SORRY IM SORRY IS YOUR NEW CAR Lol....

I'm pretty sure they were just asking for nice looking pics of your wife, not vomiting pics... although I wouldn't put it passed some people here... :)

bluelion 12-22-2010 07:33 PM

if it happens again, it better be in HER car...hahahah

Has your wife read this thread yet? I didn’t think so or you'd be sleeping on the couch for the better part of a week.

Not your dumb car.

ClemsonWill 12-23-2010 08:27 AM

One of the reasons I don't drive the Z when we go out drinking. Glad you were able to get it all fixed up. Your wife owes you many night time favors!

Educ8r 12-23-2010 04:30 PM

Wouldn't it have been better to skip all the info regarding your regurgitating wife and just ask for help on reconnecting the cables underneath the seat.

You were drinking too, weren't you? :shakes head:

shabarivas 12-23-2010 05:10 PM

Time for a new wife...

They ride with me a few times a week, but I've never left them alone...nor will I ever. Not much room in the front seat for 2 dogs. Luckily, the pup isn't full grown yet...then there will be trouble.
