I would buy about anything besides the new Camaro. It has a nice engine/transmission, but after that, the package falls apart. Raced a few in my '01 WS6, and they were certainly no faster.

i would feel the same as kgreen: i would want to try other brand, having already owned a z. however, it would be easier for me to find a suitable replacement since i am not as picky

dont hate me guys but i went ahead and took the deal on the SS. searched everywhere in this city and found nothing i like and buddy gave it to me at his auction price so it is a damn good deal. my plan is to keep it for about a year since 2011 i will be out of town for work alot so i will be bringin plenty of extra cash then purchase something i really want. everything is out of my range right now since this came in unexpectedly.

I wish I could've found one when I myself could finally afford to buy my first car. Instead, I ended up with a '76 Firebird, which was kind of a POS.

I'm kind of a mixed mind about the new design. From some angles, it can look pretty damn cool; from others, it just looks ridonkulous and overblown.
But, you know, different strokes, yada, yada, yada. I'm just happy the OP is back on the road.

I like the front and rear views. I think it looks odd from the side.
