All I know is there are a handful of complaints with the Shelby's but that probably affects less than 3% of the ownership group. The only issue about buying a 2011 GT500 now is knowing the next generation is going to be an SC or TT 5.0 that will wipe the floor with it.

The point is that Ford knows there is a problem, says its not right, and refuses to fix it. Who wants to own a car from a company that won't honor warranties when it has been determined that a 100% stock car showing no abuse is defective in function? Not I!

wow. now that you told about the shortcomings of the gt500, i don't like it very much anymore -- thanks for the information :)

OK, so there are a few cases on the internet that we don't have all the facts for and somehow we can extrapolate from that that it's somehow a bad buying choice? I guess that's ImportConvert logic for you. After all, that's how you determined you didn't like the 370. But instead of just moving on and looking for a new car to buy, you stick around to constantly remind us of it's shortcomings and why other cars are better because you somehow have an endless knowledge of (or at least opinions on) every single car ever made from 1900 onwards.

Every car has issues. Yes, sometimes manufacturers will not fix these issues because of reasons that may or may not have been fully disclosed on the internet. Does a handful of cars out of thousands and thousands produced make a trend? NO.

Cool story, bro.

You will never own a car again then... Ever... And the world will be thankful of this because you will not be able to bitch about a car you don't own......

O wait... What are you doing on this site again? :icon14:

only one way to settle this. Import convert Vs m4a1mustang in a drag race using their own cars.:p

Sibze 12-23-2010 12:00 PM

How about this? Mustang and I will drag race our own car's and I will drag import behind my car?

Cool?

Sibze 12-23-2010 12:00 PM

Maybe all my warranty issues will help his skin

Maybe my car will overheat and I won't even be able to move!!!

If one was to do this, to just assume based on a handful of forum threads, then they wouldn't consider a Z, either. There have been threads in here about, "I ragged my car for 14k miles with no oil change, then it broke down, now the stealership won't honor the warranty." Pretty sure that pops up everywhere. Pretty sure that all makes and models have a number of lemons that come right off the truck that way, too.

Yeah, really. Apparently ImportConvert is a member of every internet car forum known to man.

But you know what they say... jack of all trades... master of none. :icon17:
