Subscription Renewal XM Rad/Traffic/Weath
 

My XM radio trial is about to expire. Anyone have recommendations about getting a better deal with the XM radio/Traffic/Weather package? The Z is not a daily driver so I may just let it go and not use it. Haven't given them a call yet. I guess it would be nice just to have.

mine just ran out as well I am interested to hear the best options as well.

I bought my Z about 5 months ago, never used the trial, and let it expire.
However, they've called me twice since then and offered me a year for about half price.

I was going to let it go, too, and they called me a few times. I said I wasn't sure if I would use it or not and they gave me 6 months for 30 bucks (plus taxes). It came out to $35.00 for 6 months.

Now I am hooked on it. Their ploy worked as I am probably going to renew it.

I let it go because it dropped out so much I could not stand to listen to it. So much for satellite radio.:shakes head:

Ask for the 5 for 20 deal. That's five months for $20

Sounds like a good deal, but does that include XM radio with Traffic and Weather??????? There are different packages. Radio + traffic or Radio + weather or Weather + traffic. You can also just do traffic by it self or weather by it self I think (Pointless).

All three can get pricey, but it sounds like if I wait it out they will call me for a deal. I would pay 100 bucks for the year on all three :tup:

You should be able to do the $70 deal with either XM or Sirius. You might need to call a few times though to find a CSR to drop the price that much, just be persistent.

How longs the trial last for, I've had my Z for over a year and its still good

Trial is suppose to be 3 months. I have gotten several notices in the mail to subscribe to the service prior to my trial ending.

i believe it will continue as long as you dont disconnect the battery or change from the preset stations. I disconnected the battery and that is when I lost mine.

That's what I do,when it is about to expire they call me up I tell them it is too much money and shut off my service then they offer me 5 months for 20 bucks for every channel they have. I have done this for 2.5 years straight:tup:
