Car is broken-in.

Who changed your oil, and if you did can please add some feedback? What oil did you use? Thanks.

I went to the dealership because the place were i do it myself was closed and my plan was to change the oil right when the car was broken in. They overfilled it the first time (because they're retarded), so i took it back and got it fixed. And it was also $25.01. i used conventional oil rather than synthetic for the first oil change. When I hit 3k miles i will do synthetic every 3k miles. I did this to be on the safe side since theres controversy about synthetic when breaking in... blah, blah blah... I dont consider the car broken in until you drive it like your going to after the "owner's manual" way to 3k miles. After that I will go with Mobil 1 fully synthetic.

Hope this confusing write up helps you.

Isn't 10W30 recommended? What's the purpose of 0W 30?
I use my car for recreation and do no "tracking" and not much "spirited driving."

Wow, another Z owner in San Diego...I get mine in 3 more weeks. I have only seen one other Z in San Diego, and its driven by DJCUETIP. looks like we are the lucky few until the economy pulls out of the recession and people rush out to buy them!

Yeah, I THINK I've seen two on the streets, one in Coronado were i live and the other one by Fashion Mall, both time it was dark and I could barely see the head/tail lights so Im not sure if they were 370z. But yeah it sucks to have one of the few 370z in San Diego, I've been followed home by 2 guys in a g37s, I got pulled over yesterday by a female cop who "was doing a routine check" at 1:30am, all she did was ask me about my car, and the first thing she said after "license and proof of insurance" was "so this is what a 370 looks like"....Im not a **** and I love to share with people who want to see it but I dont like being followed home and I dont like to get pulled over after a long day at work....

But anyways, good luck with the Z you will love it.

haha thats a great story for the 'unique stories' thread! I actually saw a yellow one last night in Pacific beach, parked in front of a liquor store off Garnet.

I sure hope I dont get pulled over though. I am sure ill get a lot of attention, seeing as how I live in Mira Mesa...

Here it's illegal for them to pull you over without cause, so check your local rules and maybe file a complaint. If the cops want to check it out then they should go to a car meet or dealership like everyone else.
