So what I get glares and shakes from older people. I'm paying for it; they're not. If you're mature enough and well respected enough to drive one, by all means please do. I work everyday except sundays. Dad taught me to work hard and play hard. I agree that some kids shouldn't be driving these cars, but either way its going to happen. We're not all like that.

some of these remarks are kind of harsh imo.......
it's not the age it's how you act. as long as they show respect to the car and other drivers i could care less.... i'm showing my age but i had a 69 GTO in high school. and everyone on this board knows back then the driver was the vdc.... i made it through but i had a healthly respect for the car.. |
lol there's an 18 year old kid here that owns a Reventon, an SLR, a Scud, and a Bentley Continental GT. Here as an international student for 18 months mind you.

i got my Z at 18, took great care of it, always safe and it treated me well. I believe it also saved my life. After about 14months of owning it i got into an accident and the car got totaled. All my airbags deployed and i walked away unharmed. Had i been in my honda which i just found out earlier last week that the SRS light came on i may not have been so lucky.

If people have the money, go for it. If you're parents can't/won't/wouldn't buy you a nice car. Tell someone who cares? |
