this is terrible PR for our car...dammit!

I think it will be awesome, it will get people interested in the Z which by the time the movie is released, will have fallen in value on the used car market making it more accessible to people with a lower budget. This interest might spur some additional aftermarket support which would be great!

I'm not sure if any of those are considered "rice" or were somehow tainted after the movie came out.

I wonder if theywill wreck another 240SX in the next movie. They seem to like to bash on the tuner cars in a less than subtle way in those movies...............

i happen to enjoy the series quite a lot. come on guys, if your looking for serious spot on driving and "real" race cars, go watch the speed channel. the movies serve their entertainment purposes.

the 370z is getting some publicity, im cool with that...

I was excited to see how much it is all over Gran Turismo 5... The instruction booklet has two pictures of it, and the Dealership icon ( out of the 1,000s of cars in the game ) is the front end and headlight of our 370z .....

Im fine with it being in the movie... the 370z is still way under apreciated though... MANY think its a disguised 350z

Look on the bright side maybe more people will buy Z's and then we can get more companies looking into making aftermarket parts.

Of the F&F series some are good and some are horrible (I'm talking about you 2F2F). So I'll watch it. I'm sure I've seen worse race movies (I'm talking about you Driven)

I do not think the Z will be ruined by this movie.
Mainly because the price keeps it above your typical 'ricer' price range and not enough used cars are on the market (cheap enough) yet for them to pick up.

I am sooo glad he is not driving my car... I would be having a chit fit like no tomorrow!!!

Gotta love what the Asian did to it in the movie.

I was happy to see a 350Z in the Tokyo drift, and I am happy to see there will be a 370Z in the new one!!! This is a good thing!

Of course I do!* In all seriousness, Paul Walker is actually a pretty darn good driver off the set so I can't take that away from him. Plus, the better movies in the series are still somewhat entertaining.

Face it buddy... the Z is pure rice. Especially with the catfish grille and the bloated butt...
So is the evo. The top evo hits 40k to so don't have elitist illusions about price keeping you out the rice stigma. The gt-r is 90k of extra long grain rice but its still a hot car.. I love the z design but I'm not gonna trick my brain into thinking its not a ricey car. I just don't care what domestic car lovers think about my import choices.

Fast and furious story lines suck, but the cars are the stars and the award will go to the hott riced out Z. FTW

I like the movies. They are entertaining in their own way. And I think the best part comes a year after the movie when you see all the copy cats running around. I can't tell you how many Eclipse were running around with a neon green paint job, blitz body kit, and stickered up. :facepalm:

i don't get why this would be a bad thing. it brings more publicity to the car. i agree with the above statements about the other cars that paul walker drove in the series as well as possibly improving aftermarket support.

and anyone worried about this causing 'poor people' to buy our cars is really a pretentious ass

and F&F is entertaining enough to watch. its stupid and corny and fake, but thats part of its charm.

At least they didn't totally rice out the car, although those vented fenders are super played out, tacky and pure rice. But it's a movie. I realize they can't exactly roll a stock car out there.

i can't stand hearing the term 'rice' anymore. like i know what it means etc but its such an annoying word to hear to describe a vehicle. i mean, i say it too, but i guess hearing it a lot just gets annoying.

i'm excited to see what kind of fake numbers our car will put down in the movie with twin t88 turbochargers that magically spool up at idle.

not gonna lie. if that car was black i'd drive that.

Damn it....they forgot to add The Smurf to the lineup! I waited too long to add the air ride suspension! I better call Paul Walker stat!
