I always thought of the RX8 as girly and the RX7 as manly. Maybe because I only see girls in RX8's. But then, I tend to only see girls in 'vettes, M3's, on and on. Maybe I just don't remember/look at men driving vehicles?

I actually had a gay guy tell me my ram-air WS6 was a chic car. Was serious. I didn't think it was anything of the sort. It looked like every known penile-compensation feature rolled into 1 vehicle. Spoiler? Check. Massive ram-air? Check. Manual transmission? Check. V8? Check. Black interior/exterior? Check. Chrome rims? Check.

Who's to say?

I guess just about anything can be...a chic car...

If I had the money for a Cayman-S I'd just hold my z for 1-2 years and get myself a GTR!

I guess cars become "chick cars" when 50% (plus or minus) of a model, are seen driven by them. Name brands are very important to women so Porsche Boxter, Mazda Miata, all BMW and Mercedes convertibles, seem to be on their list. Nissan 370Z is not yet on that list, although it may become one.

I wish I could find the "Two and a half men " episode where a character buys a Porsche (Boxter), and the rest of the episode some body tells him my wife, girlfriend or daughter drives one too.
Episode title: That Old Hose Bag Is My Mother. Tu.tv - Videos de Entretenimiento - Video: two and a half men 2x22 Subtitulado Sorry this was the best I could find.

The last three Caymens I've seen were driven by mature women.
