Kindof off-topic, but I pass a red Cayman at a Nissan dealership every day. I don't know if they traded it in for a Z, or another vehicle, just saying.

when i came to the dealer to order my z, the owner of a boxster asked me if i was interested in buying a boxster :)

he wanted to get a new z but he did not like the price the dealer had offered for his boxster.

Nothin' wrong with a Boxster!

yeah, i think it depends on the individual. for me, i like the design of the z better than the designs of the boxster and cayman, although i have no doubt that the porsches are great driving cars.

The first gen was under-powered. Nowadays, no more. I believe the 911, the Cayman, and the Boxster share the same engine (same torque, same hp).

I never like the Boxster until the Spyder came out. :happydance:

911 has the better/more powerful engine.

So the 370Z Roadster must be for chicks too considering how they are in the same class.

I see plenty of girls in Z's, AMG's, ///M cars, 'vettes, Cobra's, etc.

I don't believe there is a such thing as a chick car as it relates to enthusiast cars. Late-model celicas, scions, etc... those are best driven by chicks.

But the MX5, Boxster, TT, etc are all fun cars and you are not any less "manly" for driving one. Enthusiasts get it.

When I got out of my pickup truck phase and back into sportier cars, I bought a 2001 Celica. I got some teasing, but still liked the car :ugh2:.

No, just pulled a hat down real low over my face to avoid embarrassment. Kinda made it hard to drive...

I traded it in after less than 2 years on an RX-8. No one accused THAT of being a chick car (except of course the driver of any car that had even a little bit of torque).

Just because you don't believe it, doesn't make it true!
