I've long been a fan of performance cars. After years of modding (and destroying) my daily drivers I have decided that I should buy a thoroughbred, be gentle to her, pay her off, buy a new daily and keep the thoroughbred for when I need my jollies. The cars I considered as candidates for this undertaking. N=New U=Used.
U-Corvette C5 Z06 N-Corvette C6 U-Corvette C6 Z06 (A bit pricey or would be the obvious choice) U-Ford/Shelby GT500 N-Evo X N-370Z U-300ZX TT U-Supra TT Or hold my breath and hope the new supra project gets revived. I didn't put the likes of the BMW, Audi, Lexus or Infiniti on my list because parts for luxury cars are ridiculously over-priced. I think I made the right call. I also think that besides the Supra the 370Z will stand the test of time best (In terms of style and mechanical longevity). Could anyone else keep a car indefinitely?
