winter "dirt" (salt) shows up more on silver. This is my least favorite dirt, so I said white. I've owned both.

You really want to hide dirt? Get a champagne/light tan color. Unfortunately, it's about as flattering as a snuggie on Pam Anderson.

again, i will say paint matching is a NON ISSUE when you have a good shop that takes pride in their work... my front and rear bumpers needed to be re sprayed already and they both came out MUCH better than OEM...

theres too many issues with this car that people blow out of proportion...

but I love my Pearl White and wouldnt get any other color if I did it over again.. all thought I love black when its clean ... but imo the swirls show too much on black after a few years of ownership

Silver is the hardest color of any to paint match. Metallic in silver is nearly impossible to get right... chances are it will never match.

I've got a BSM Z and it always looks clean...

the problem with silver is, after you spent time washing it, it doesn't look any different than before

my other car is white and it looks a little shiner after the wash.

I agree. A non-metallic, true white (Like GM's "Arctic White" or Porsche's white) are awesome colors. They hide sworl marks very well, and paint-matching is not hard at all. Pearl and other whites are a PITA.

Agreed, and almost nothing beats that Pearl effect that it gives off in the sun or at night!

White is a nice color but very hard to keep clean - I had a white MR-2 for ten years and any rain left it gray.

Mu 350Z was Silver an wa easy to keep up and I didn't have a garage. The old lady SUV is Silver and stays outside and doesn't show when is dirty which is good for me.

I hate you guys. Black civic. I wash it and it's got a nice coating of visible dust a day later.
