trip odometer?

can someone tell me how to reset the trip odometer? haha i know it may sound like a stupid question, but i misplaced my manuals and i wasn't able to figure it out :ughdance:

On the right side of the center of the 3-part gauge, there's a stick. Press and hold it down.
