Upgrading from a 370 to a Lexus IS-F

Im getting a real good deal on a 2008 lexus is-f, thinking of buying it and then selling my Z. What do you think, good or bad move?
416 HP V8
12.9 1/4
seats 4,with 4 doors
auto 8 speed trans
ventilated seats
:ugh2:

i kinda like them, the F looks kinda funky but the performance is good. what's a "good deal"? that'd probably be my deciding factor

Here in PR a new isf with all the taxes is around 90,000.(crazy) I can get this one (2008 but looks the same) for 43,000 with 25,000 miles. I paid 40,000 for my Z

It is a tough call, I have heard good things about the IS F for performance and luxury combo.
It will be completely different from the Z though.

If you want it, get it. They are pretty nice cars.

i am not to sure but i am pretty sure the model of lexus are changing in 2011

the IS-F just doesn't do it for me. From a performance standpoint, its impressive, but for me, I couldn't make the switch.

Guess its just a matter of driving it around and seeing if you like it better than the Z....good luck with your decision!

My buddy just picked up and 2010 IS350. I'm very impressed with it so I'm sure the IS-F is only that much more impressive. I think it's a great car if you need the extra space and luxury then go for it. If you want a more true sports car then keep the Z. In a perfect world you could have both!

Side note: Everyday I wish my Z had ventilated seats. Someone do a DIY on swapping out the roadster seats into the coupe.

There was an ISF running 11.7s at the 1/4 last month. I have no idea what he had done, though. Exhaust was stock, I know that!

SCed. They do low 13s high 12s stock. Check dragtimes...

That's the problem,I test drove another one a while back (before I got the Z) and it was awesome but the deal was not right. before 3,500 its a tame car but from 3,500 to redline it's loud and it pulls hard. It feels faster than my Z, its comfortable, easy to get in and out (Im a big guy) also it has that auto steering wheel adjusting motors. I do have to say the suspesion feels harder than the Z. Overall the only thing missing from this car to the Z its the looks factor.

Well think about it some more and see if it is worth it. Do you still want the Z? If you still want the Z then keep it. If not, maybe go et the ISF.
