I hate to say it guys...

You do what's going to make you happy, man. Maybe right now it's knowing you have options that's fun. ..and if you were fit you could backflip in and out

I get what you are saying. I ride a motorcycle most of the time. I got the Z for a bad weather car. I don't really like riding 30 miles one way to work when it is below 20*F or in the snow and ice. It is easier to go grocery shopping when you can haul more than a back packs worth. I couldn't get by with just a bike and a 2 seater if I didn't have my bros pick up at my disposal. There are times when ya need to pull a trailor or move a TV or other furniture.

The only thing your supposed to put in the Z is a hot chick in the passenger seat.

I do agree that using the Z as your primary grocery getter isn't easy... but that's why I have a Jeep and the Z.

Jeep and Z combo here as well. Good team! Although it feels so weird to go back to the jeep up so high and automatic

I feel just right in the Z, anything bigger inside will feel like a waste of space in a sports car.

I test drove the STi last week just to see what the hype was about. pedal to the metal, corners, and I almost fell asleep... Last straw was looking at the bland interior. 5 minutes was too much...can't imagine having to live with that. That was just me tho.

OP, any chance you can swing picking up a beater for a daily w/more room? maybe an old pickup or suv perhaps? Then you could keep the Z and have the best of both worlds.

You're not too big for it. You don't want to haul stuff around. You just don't like the car and are looking for reasons you don't. Well...you don't. Get what you want. Life is short.

Zs aren't for everyone. One of the things I like about the z is that I can go a week w/o seeing another one.

As for space... I don't expect my Honda fit to be able to go 140 mph and corner lik e demon, and I don't expect the z to be able to take the dog and the wife on a trip.

It's a purpose built car.

I know a guy who wanted a Z but felt bad as he was your size. You're not alone.

To me, the Z feels more like a cockpit. Although it could be spacious, the internals wraps you around. The bar even takes space, the various foam surrounding the tire didn't help either, the spare could have been a collapsible one.....but no!

Yes, it doesNt allow a lot of groceries. But heck, that's what sports car are all about.

Get what you want. Don't feel bad.

I've had the car about a month and I have already been thinking about what else is out there. I'm not going to take anything away from the Z, I love the way it drives, I love how it sounds and it is such a sexy looking car...

BUT

DAMN it's small. I knew what I was getting myself into, but I totally under estimated the size when living with it on a day to day basis. I'm not a small guy, 6'3" 235lbs and it's kind of annoying getting in and out of the car, you can't put anything in it and it doesn't have back seats.

Again... I totally knew and accepted this when I bought the car, but I guess you'll always want what you can't have... right?

Is it just me? Is it buyers remorse? Am I crazy?

To make matters worse, I'm looking at an 09 STi to replace it with which is what was next in line before I bought this car.

I don't know what to do...!

im 6'4 and 245. I drive it almost everyday now. Reason I got the z is for looks and great performance. I have no kids but also engaged. If you have kids sure why not get something bigger but I see it as this 4 doors means more people in your car. 2 doors less people more fun. Enjoy it while you have it boost it modify the car. Somewere down the line your gonna need a 4 door then get the STI. A couple of weekends ago I almost bought an evo mr. Life is short man enjoy it cuz 2tm is never promised

I'm gonna grab a 4runner I think? Need something that'll carry the dog and make through the snow on ski trips!
