Damn GTR is so lame, I roast them on highway rolls because their stupid automatics are hunting for gears.

I love how everyone jumps on the GT-R bandwagon about voiding a warranty. Have any of you really done research on how many or why most of them were voided and what changes Nissan has done to improve on the transmission?

ok. Dealer called again. no blue nor gunmetal left of 2010's. All the 2011's here are all without nav...so I might as well jump on the 2010 black without nav and save myself $5k...

You're going to find that the cubby in place of the nav is VERY useful, especially for a daily driver!

why don't you just order one? if your selling a car as awesome as the GTR, why not get exactly what you want? its winter now anyways. if you wait the 3 months, it will come just in time for spring.

Yep, especially when you put a screen in it.

Go read your owner's manual. It clearly states that the warranty is void for any number of silly reasons. Dyno-testing the car, running it at ANY competative event, turning VDC off not in snow/mud, etc. etc. It's rediculous. There is no such feature as launch control, and your owner's manual spells it out clearly. It is designed to un-stick the car from mud or snow. Not to "launch" the car. Nissan never called it launch control. People on the internet, and whatnot did and began using it as such and busting transmissions and so Nissan came out with all these disclaimers in their warranty. Again, go read the warranty disclaimer that came with the car. Turning VDC off voids trans-axle warranty. Also, that transmission is hella expensive to maintain. $1500 fluid changes, etc. I know I know, "if you can afford the car". Well, sure, I could easily afford payments on a GT-R, but I wouldn't want to pay for $1500 worth of maintenance on a ruitine maintenance item. It's not like people who can afford a GT-R enjoy throwing away $1500 just because they can. I know operating costs are secondary, but I don't think they can be ignored, either. The GT-R is a high-maintenance item on top of having a finicky warranty. http://www.nissanextendedwarranty.co...Nissan-GTR.pdf Here, go read about all the extranious crap you have to have done if you want to keep your warranty. It's absurd. Transmission adjustments, frequent service intervals for such, etc. etc. etc. Yes, the GT-R performs well on the track and is offered at an attractive price, but the paper-cut costs DO rack up.
