I was pretty good... I waited several months before buying my B&M shifter and it was 7 months before I bought my exhaust.
I think it's good to enjoy the car stock for a little while. It's funny when I took everything off the car to trade it in I found that I really enjoyed it stock more than I did with the exhaust and intake on it!

Picked up the car on April 1st. Berk HFC's installed April 20th. I've done at least something to the car each month since.
I might be addicted now. All I can think of is what to do next. From the smallest things (rear fog light) to the big stuff (forced induction). It's hard to save for the big stuff when I still have so many small things that I want to do.

First mods were from delivery, Lit sills and clear bra, window tint. Next was Gen II Stillen CAI and grounding kit, within 4 weeks....
HFC's came about 7 months later and CBE about a month after that! Back up camera kit this weekend, and many many many more to come I am sure!

You mean you're supposed to eventually stop? j/k
I'm still going strong 1 1/2 years later.....started about 1 month into possession of the blue Z.

I did the badges within the first month and the spacers and auto dimming mirror at about 1 year.
Hoping for something different for the wheels and exhaust this coming year

Probably about a month.
Tinted the windows, swapped out the front Nissan badge, installed the Ipod gateway, little stuff. Then had to stop for a while to save/get the front lip (which is hopefully being installed in a couple of weeks!)

Nearly two months before I even purchased a Z I had parts ordered!
(Had the FI exhaust ordered in the first week of March and didn't buy my 370 until late April! ) Last edited by dropped1; 11-25-2010 at 11:02 PM. |
