Maybe I can run the 1/8 mile in reverse hehehe That may even the odds a lil bit...
but in all seriousness I would probably run on spring pressure unless its a gt500 then im gonna bust some balls! |
Trying to see what I can do, but it seems not a lot of Houston owners are stepping up.

Bullitt's car against the GT500 would be nice, but I'm not sure how the Z would compare against an '11 GT. :dunno:
|
I would love to take my twin turbo and represent for sure.
|
It is great seeing this actually come to fruition with parties on both ends being contacted! I hope the competition will lean more heavily towards the auto-x and the figure 8 so the Z is at a larger advantage.
|
I am sad to say I will have to bow out of this one. I could be ready but at the detriment of not having the VVEL unlocked. So I will take the more tuning time to make sure we get the most out of VVEL development.
|
damn...ok Dreamer u must step up!..haha

Forum Wars is full of BullCHIT!.....they still putting a mustang 5.0 vs 350z... and even the 370z vs the 5.0 mustang...
This idiots clearly don't know how to categorized cars... not even match driver skillz. |
Oh well guess we're losing to stangnet.com!
|
I hear Lou has a TT Z just sitting around... or has he sold it already?
|
I'd do it but texas is a long drive.
|
everybody give Brazilbro $2's so he can make it there!
|
Ill save my quarters from the strip club to help out
|
Il go watch but my car is bone stock right now. Wouldnt want to be the face of the370z lol
|
Status update: We have the 2011 5.0 GT locked. Light tune, +10HP. We still need an evenly matched [bolt ons only, no superchargers] 350/370 Z to compete.
If you're up for the challenge, a day at the track, and the chance to win some prizes [Eibach, Magnaflow, Royal Purple] then please email theforumwars@gmail.com ASAP! Paul. Rules: Tires - UTQG 140 or higher. No tuning/tweaking between rounds. No tire changes throughout the day. One driver. |
You shouldn't allow a Sport package 370 since the GT you are using doesn't have the Brembo package.
Sport 370 on summer tires vs. the base GT on little Pirelli all-seasons... no contest. |
lets make it a fair race i am committed to bringing my twin turbo to race. I think everyone would love to see what a TT could do.
come on everyone vote for me I promise not to let anyone down. |
brembo still owns nissan brakes any day, and the GT with brembo package has suspension upgrades doesnt it?
|
i think if anything it should be a base 370Z vs a base GT...suspension wise mod for mod the Z is gonna kill the GT...equally sam e goes for the GT when performance modding

If you do a comparo IMO it has to be Sport 370 vs. Brembo GT, simply because the base GT is NOT tuned for handling at all unlike the base Z. Sport vs. Brembo GT handling will be almost equal. Base vs. Base the 370 has a clear advantage. |
Obviously from the 370 perspective you want to race the base GT. But if you are really trying to do an honest comparison it has to be Sport 370 vs. Brembo GT. That's really the only way.
|
i just hope the right car with at the very least a decent driver steps up, dont need another convertible, auto review on the 370Z's dock
|
Hi Guys,
Please have someone step up. We would like to have a car with mods that would make it a fair fight with the 5.0. We are considering dropping the 0-100-0 in favor of a slalom or figure 8 race. This would make it more of a drivers competition. If you or someone you know is interested. Please email me directly at theforumwars@gmail.com. Thanks, Paul |

ps. sorry for the threadjack |
Why don't they run a v6 stang against the Z? They had no problem running some POS 350 against a GT500 lol. And the 370 was already out that year (if that was last year). What a joke.

Well, my guess is the 350 would have faired better if the guy driving the Mustang also drove the 350.
