Not sure if 400 whp will do it when we've seen 2011 5.0s smash the crap out of their front ends after pulling a 4 foot wheelies off the line.

The issue with the Z in a drag race is getting it off the line. We know how hard the Mustangs can launch, but no one really knows how hard the Z can on slicks. No one knows how much the diff and half-shafts can take without shattering. I figure jnaut will find out soon enough!

Either way, I think this is purely entertainment... nothing else. It doesn't prove anything. We'd be better off calling the folks at (the real) TopGear and having them do some silly challenges with the Z and 5.0.

Someone on this forum (company) get Mike a supercharger or TT setup. hes a damn good driver, and already knows how to handle his car very well! To go vs a 5.0 mustang that is possibly modded I think he may just need a lil more power (drag race).

Well you figure if the Z is supercharged then the 5.0 will be as well if they are doing a "mod for mod" thing, otherwise it's kind of pointless.
