Coupe, if only for the looks.
My previous two cars were roadsters, so this time I opted for a coupe. I know the 370 convertible is a good car technically, but it looks a bit of a duffer. I do miss having a convertible, though. Still figuring out my next vehicular move.

The bottom line is that a sportscar should have a top permanantly fixed to it. Now if you want to get say, a cute little VW Beetle, then go ahead... let the wind flow through your hair.

I think both the coupe and roadster look great. This time Nissan has done a good job with making the roadster roof look integrated. I have seen both on the road and both give off an imposing quality "look"

Does any one have any idea how much it would cost to replace the rag top on a 370? if some one takes a knife too it.

My opinion will mirror what has been mentioned before, but my first (previous) car was a convertible and while I enjoyed the ability to drop the top, it was really only a novelty feature. I don't think I will ever get another convertible simply because there are too many tradeoffs in a whole manner of areas:
-Handling/structural rigidity -Weight/performance -Looks -More parts to go wrong I would recommend thinking long and hard about how much you would realistically use the convertible roof, but in the end do what feels best!

A member who is currently having major issues with their roof was quoted $11,000 dollars to replace the roof!

Too much bias in the answer to those questions. Test drive them both and get what is best for you. I bought the roadster because I wanted a convertible. I have 4 other cars, so I only drive it when the weather is good. But again, it is all in what you want. Cheers.

My previous car was a convertible, and I will never go back to soft top convertibles. If you intend to keep the car for a long time the main problem is the maintenance... eventually it will tear (leak and some flood)and replacing the top is never cheap. Also, with the top down it looks pretty good, but with the top up the coupe looks WAY better imo. Besides, most people have their convertibles up more often than down. Go with the coupe.
