My gf helped me lean towards Platinum Graphite over Brilliant Silver. She was pretty depressed about selling the 350Z because we had brief moments in the car. My 350Z was Chrome Silver, so I was a bit hesitant about getting a darker silver color. After seeing it in the dealer in person, I'm happy we made the right choice. Now I'm playing the waiting game (1 more month).

Most of my girl friends are of the conservative spenidng type, so I was a bit nervous when showing them my car. The last thing I needed was a lecture on excessive spending and blah blah blah, but I saved up for this thing.
It literally blew my mind when they all loved the car, and actually argued over who got to ride in it first. I fidn that the 370 is much more appealing all around than the 350. That car seemed a lot more on the edge of like/dislike. |

Well, when i had my evo i wouldnt have anyone look at me twice on the streets , unless it was a dude between 12-30 that knew something about cars, some girls at work said it was nice, but just in passing.. Then.. i show up in the Z and the girls are freaking out wanting to sit in it and go for rides, also on the street i get all types of people breaking there necks to check it out, from the 30 somethink soccer mom, too the 50ish in the BMW.

Oh ! Boy .... I've got to jump into this silly thread.
My wife didn't know what car I bought, until I brought it home. She has her car. I have my car. She thinks the new car is childish, she was pissed at my choice of only getting a 2 seater, and remained so for the standard 3 days. This comes from someone who reads Vanity Fair. Funny thing is though....she was pissed at the Honda S2000 I brought home 3 years ago and remained so for the standard 3 days and then loved it after about a month. I expect something similar. As fare as a CHICK car.....ha ha ....that's so funny.....Eclipse is a chick car. And for those that are doubting......My wife and I get a long fantastic. |

When I was dating my wife, I used to drive an '04 350z. We both loved it and had great time with it. Then we got married and had a baby. I traded it in for a Chevy Avalanche. We missed 350z. When the 370z came out in January, we traded in her Jeep and got the new one. We love it, but this time its her car... . I drive it on weekends.

I can only imagine what it must be like to have a Z in your garage on not being able to drive at will. Growing up, my parents never had fancy go-go cars, just the family friendly ones that can go on road trips with 4 people in them, so I haven't ever really experienced something like that.
Actually, come to think of it, I find it odd that my roommates don't want to drive my car. They're terrified of it. |

My wife doesn't like it at all. I don't know what it is. She keeps trying to talk me into other cars that are much more expensive. She doesn't get the whole bang for the buck deal.

is the Z a chick magnet?
There certain questions which are just not appropriate after you pass 14 years old. Buy a car for you. Buy flowers for women. |

haha! Point is you can't rely on a car to pick up girls. The Z is an awesome car that you get for you and no one else.
