I was sitting in my office a few day ago when a co-worker comes in and says dude...your car is a chick magnet. At first I was like...huh? Pointed out the window and there were 4-5 girls doing circles around it peeking in the windows lol. The girls here really like it. Whats funny is I didn't even think of that when I bought it. I bought it cause i liked it haha :)

I knew most of them from around the office, and I've given most of them a ride since then.

my gf loved the 350, but she's a main part of the reason i considered the 370. she immediately fell in love with it, whereas i had to see it in person to really like it. so ya. chicks dig it. i still dont see any around, and i alwaysss get looks.

I just went to my girlfriend's church this past Friday and I was treated almost celebrity status cause of my Z.

My GF doesn't like the car! She likes the exterior at least a bit, but hates the noise, the ride, and the seats.

The seats in the Base 370Z are different: the driver's side can raise and lower the front and rear parts of the seat cushion, while the passenger side can't. As a result, my GF, who has long legs, has no leg support, and thus only one point of lower body contact with the seat.

Does anyone know why the passenger side seats are like this, and how to make it more comfortable? Are the Touring seats the same way?

I love the older model (04-08) acura TL. One of the best looking sedans out there. The new 09 model = :ugh: . Seems like the car is always smiling!

Yeah I was behind a 09 TL today and I was like WTF? I honestly thought the whole panel was some aftermarket kit until I saw the dealer's invoice/msrp tag on the side window. I was quite familiar with the front since I've been bombarded with them on the internet but they don't have much pic of the front. :d

My gf likes the car, just not the fact that I have it.

I parked my car yesterday and a couple was making out nearby. The gal was hot in her tight jeans and long hair flowing in the breeze. When I came back the dude was trying to lead her somewhere by the arm, and she was staring at my car resisting his pulling and tugging. I wished I had my camera but the memory of her rear end next to my Z's rear end lingers on. :yum:

Agreed. The massive chrome "grille" on the front of the new models is hideous.

Saw one on the street next to me at a light. Rolled down the window to compliment the car as it really does look nicer in person. Said I'm trading mine in for one and I'm just waiting for it to arrive in a couple weeks and I can't wait. The guy gave me this weird look and drove off. Maybe cuz I'm in a GTR. Oh wells.

It's the opposite for me, I use to own a 2008 Acura TL (I'm 25) and she said "what are you 30 years old driving a sedan?"

She absolutely love my chicane yellow Z but still mad at me for getting a manual instead of AT lolz

I buy cars with out the gf (common law!) even knowing it, lol. I bought both the Z32 and Z34 without her prior knowledge or APPROVAL!! She doesn't care to much, I make more then double her so I have extra I can save and put into my car funds!

That surprises me because in almost all respects the 370z is a better looking car IMHO

Haha, I got my Z for graduation, a few months before I met my girl. Her parents and us were going to meet her friends to eat, and her dad was going to drive his brand new SRT-8 Challenger, and she refused saying she wanted to show up in the Z because it is "hella gorgeous" haha, I was like umm ok lets go.

P.S. Her dad's response, "yeah yours looks better, but if you ever wanna a$$ whippin we can race!" He just confessed a few weeks ago that he wishes he would have bought a 370z instead of his challenger, complaining about the lack of fun while driving.

Accept the challenge, but set the terms: the race must last at least 300 miles (gf's Dad is only getting 13-15 MPGs).

My wife was so happy when I sold my S2000 to get the Z. Mostly because she knew I was also looking at a Corvette GS which she said was an old man's car. She is completely happy and brags about the Z all the time.

Exactly what I wound up doing. My fiancee absolutely hates the Z. Mostly because I sold my 05 STi to get it. She loved that car. She was against me getting the Z from the beginning but I really wanted it and followed through. It's been a year now and she still hates it lol

You should consider her attitude as a red flag.

Well she doesn't give me any crap for all the money I spend on it and my motorcycle hobby so I'll let it slide. I don't think her not liking my car is grounds for ending a 5 year relationship.

My girl isn't into cars, but she loves driving manuals, she grew up with it. It took me a while to convince her the big differences between my old 350 and the 370. It always amazed me how to her they looked exactly the same. She often said "look! its your car" but it was a 350...Although I have to admit, she's pretty good at driving it, she's never driven a Z but she got on it like a pro.

Would you two get out of the way so I can see the Z?!?

Meh. I still say what was said a few pages back. It's your paycheck, don't worry about what someone else has to say about it. Buy what you want and either she will deal with it or she will move out and save you further trouble. Either way, win/win!

I'm fairly convinced that some Honda employee was pissed off at the company and designed the back of the TL to look just like the Wagon Queen Family Truckster from the original Vacation.

On the 370Z, I'll say it's remarkable that girls simply don't hate the car. I've had several actually say nice things about it. With a lot of other cars, girls typically say nothing or you can just tell that they don't like it and are waiting for you to get rid of it.

The strangest experience I've had with the 370Z is when I went to pick up my Nismo exhaust. The guy shows up in a spotless black Nismo, we load the exhaust into my truck and then we're standing around talking for a minute. Some old Chevy Monte Carlo pulls up, window goes down and some fairly white trash looking lady in her 40's wearing a Virginia Tech sweatshirt leans out. "I've got to tell you, that car is absolutely gorgeous," she says. I was shocked. This woman looked like absolute last person who would like the car.

I'm not trying to be rude, but is your girlfriend stock or does she have some mods?
