I hope you dont do this at start up---> |
It won't rev past 4500 rpm in neutral. I found out when I was making sound clips for my exhaust, so I just put it into 1st gear to get past it (and made sure my foot didn't slip off the clutch pedal!). But unless you're doing it for some special reason (like making a sound clip of an exhaust), why would you want to rev it real high in neutral? Just curious.

i like to show off lol, so if you press the clutch while in first or whatever you can rev past 4500k rpm? around what is that governor set at?
|
LOL you like to flex? That's what they call it when I was in high school. My friends with automatics would shift to neutral to rev, and then quickly shift to D. :ugh2:
My initial impression with the 370Z is that it likes to rev past 3k real easily, but I've not driven it past 20mph during my 5 min. test drive around the block lol. Just don't miss shift... |
please buy a different car.

The Rev limiter is set to 7500 RPM and top speed is around 155 MPH (approx, govn. limited). For launch, we were told 5000 RPM is the sweet spot. BTW, if you're buying (or looking to buy) a Z just to show off, I don't know what to tell ya. One must be a very careful behind the wheel of this car, or else you'll end up like THIS GUY

^^^^WOWZERZZZZ!!!!
it hurts my heart when i see beautuiful cars crashed. well... pretty sur ehe had insurance so the car will be ok :) |
reving your engine is lame, if you want to show off, shut off your VDC rev it up, dump the clutch and blow some wheels like a real man.
|
will it go past 6 or 7 rpm when in gear and pressing the clutch?
