Truck for DD work, etc., SUV DD for old lady/family trips and the Z for fun.

Same formula for any other car I had even if it had a back seat.

Seriously? I hope you were kidding. If not look into brand quality and longevity...scoobies are known for lasting quite a while even though its a relatively low volume brand compared to other asian manufacturers (of which most will hit 200K with routine maintenance without blinking)

DINGWADs here, Z is the fun car. Have pair of 4 doors for bad weather as well (Gen2 G35x for her, 2002 WRX bike support vehicle for moi).

I tend to hang on to cars a long time, had a 92 miata until we replaced it with the Z and expect to put <10K/yr on the Z for the next 10 years. Its going to rest from Jan-March due to snow in the north east.

My wifey has a Mustang GT for her DD and we have a SUV as a 3rd car which we use for snow and driving baby around. Honestly I never have anyone in my backseats in my car now so realistically it makes no difference. I was curious if any of you guys made the same choice? And does it work? How old does a child have to be to sit in the Z front seat? Just curious. This aspect is my only hesitation with the Z and I really don't "want" to go Camaro SS for the seats. I'm 30 married 1 child in the burbs of Philly.
Currently own a g20 and z06. G is ky daily, z06 fun car. Trading in for a 370z that will take the z06's place.
Single male, 25, Louisiana (its a crap state and I'm moving next year), single, no kids, not wanting any of that to change.

I have 2 sporting vehicles. 1 with 2 seats(the Z), and 1 with 4. My woman loves sports cars and fast driving. We use the Z everyday.

No reason not to unless its really really bad weather. IF the weather is really dreadful you shouldnt be on the road anyway

In Germany I see folks using 911/Turbo's etc each day snow/rain or shine. I have a gent nearby me who uses his NEW(each year) 911-GT3 RS every single day. Thats what driving is and thats what a car should do for you. Get you around.

In Europe sportscars get used big time. I love it. Most really nice sportscars( in the US) never get much use or even see rain. Just check the for sale ads. Very silly and sad.

I was skiing in Lech Austria a couple years ago and there were more than 1 Lambo with snow chains! LOVE It!

Yep, supercar performance is very manageable on bad weather. I see z06's out all the time, except in snow. Same for gt500's, etc.
I'm just pickier. I'm a bit of a waxer.

45 / 2 kids in Middle School / DD

Wife gave me greif for 2 months but she's starting to turn around after a few rides with just the two of us. We have 4 cars with 2 drivers and she wants something new herself. Needs to be at least as expensive as the Z.

Didn't realize it was going to cost me twice the sticker.

I went the big 8 seat SUV for the family, 3 kids. Wife stays home and does most of the shuttling, and this is of course our family vehicle for weekends, vacations, family activities. My Z is our second car, my DD. I usually drive one kid from school, if I have to drive more kids I take the SUV, wife takes the Z. No big deal.

That's the tough bit about being married, anything for yourself is going to cost you at least double once you give the wife her share of your loot...not to mention the kids.

The deal my wife made with me was it made more sense to buy the Z "before" we had a kid, otherwise after it makes no sense lol. Lasted about 9 months lol

My son was just born 7 days ago lol. The Z is my DD, she drives a BMW 328XI, so we're good. In Canada, no child seats up front though...

My only worry now, outside of work, going to muay thai and car meets...my car will be used less as anytime we gotta go somewhere with the kid, its obviously not going to be my car..
