Okay guys, i really need your help on this one! You see I have been debating what to get my boyfriend for christmas, and the more i thought about it the more i realized that his main obsession is his 370z aka baby. He buys and buys for her tells her he misses her makes sure shes always locked up, and treats her like a girlfriend :). So what could I get him for christmas to make his gf more attractive to him? I don't know if its obvious to you, but I'm clueless! Any ideas are more than welcome! Thanks guys, "bubbles"

That's tough. If he's like me, and I doubt he is because he has a SO, he is probably picky about his car to the point that it will be near impossible to buy him the "right" something. My suggestion is to listen up when he talks about the car and see what he is going to buy next and buy it right before christmas so he doesn't get it first, beating him to the punch. That way you are assured the correct gift has been chosen.

Either that, or abandon the idea of buyin a present for the Z.

Don't try to surprise him, just ask him what he wants for his car. I hate it when my girlfriend tries to "surprise" me with a gift because she likes "surprise" but I flat out tell her EXACTLY what I want. Then she gets mad at me because what she got me was not what I wanted. :icon17:

Ask him to make a wish list also

then pick from there.

ask him what tools he wants for xmas. parts for cars will eventually be sold when he moves on with the car. if he gets a nice tool he will remember you each time he uses it in his garage. :)

I like the ideas you've given me, and I never thought to have him make a wish list! He doesn't have much yet as it is still very brand new to him. I know he just got something on the front of his car like to tow it. And I know he's been very interested in buying an exhaust but I know it's like 1000 some. Which I could always get him a visa with money on it so he could but as he sees fit. And I do agree about asking him however he's beingstubborn and won't let me in on mine so I'm not letting him in either. Hey, maybe I'll get lucky and he'll respond to this forum! :) anyways I've no idea all you can do to the car.

If you have roughly 5k, get him some matte black SSRs :)

*edit* We don't know his taste so we can't really be much help. Do you know if he likes carbon fiber parts? What color is his car and is it base or sport model?

if you wanna be really crazy. get his name put on the driver side pipe and yours on the passenger. (he will prolly hate that name thing tho!, but thats something a girl would do!)

Personally, I think the best kind of gift is car care stuff. You can never really have too much of it.

Microfiber towels, polishes, waxes, maybe even a random orbital if he doesn't have one. It really doesn't even matter what you get him either. Go to a good site (adamspolishes.com or detailedimage.com ) that only carries good stuff and you can pretty much pick up anything and have it be useful.

Mods are a personal thing and that'd be tough to surprise him with.

I'd say some car care stuff along with the panties idea and you'll make him very happy. If you were sneaky you could try to find some of his existing car supplies and we could help you add to it.

Lmao I am not a fat man that I can assure u and I would get him cleaning supplies and all that but he has a ton of it! I wonder where I can get those panties made...maybe I can get creative and make them myself. Oh and I was trying to get him to let me in on SOMETHING that he wants and he said he didin't want to ruin the surprise for himself
