Personally, I think the best kind of gift is car care stuff. You can never really have too much of it.

Microfiber towels, polishes, waxes, maybe even a random orbital if he doesn't have one. It really doesn't even matter what you get him either. Go to a good site (adamspolishes.com or detailedimage.com ) that only carries good stuff and you can pretty much pick up anything and have it be useful.

Mods are a personal thing and that'd be tough to surprise him with.

I'd say some car care stuff along with the panties idea and you'll make him very happy. If you were sneaky you could try to find some of his existing car supplies and we could help you add to it.

:iagree::iagree::iagree: good idea, cruz

Lmao I am not a fat man that I can assure u and I would get him cleaning supplies and all that but he has a ton of it! I wonder where I can get those panties made...maybe I can get creative and make them myself. Oh and I was trying to get him to let me in on SOMETHING that he wants and he said he didin't want to ruin the surprise for himself

Bubbles 11-19-2010 05:56 PM

However, come to think of it I don't think he'd has any waxing supplies

cruzmisl 11-19-2010 06:07 PM

By the way, I think he's VERY lucky to have someone like you that cares this much. I don't think most people's significant others would go searching for his car's specific forum and ask for recommendations. :tiphat:

Get him a set of Miata doors with a Lambo kit

chuckd05 11-19-2010 06:43 PM

when you open the door does a Orange Z light up ?

Bubbles 11-19-2010 06:45 PM

Here 'ya go: Illuminated Kick Plates

EazyD 11-19-2010 08:39 PM

He'll really enjoy those kick plates. The Z I'm picking up this weekend has them and I'm super excited about them!

jonathanmok 11-19-2010 08:52 PM

Kickplates from The Z Store in CA

Bubbles, don't know where exactly where you live but here's another source (a more competitive price there too) for kickplates in SoCal, if you live around there. By the way, they're also throwing a Christmas sale as well, in case if you want to give more goodies to your boyfriend lol.

This is perfect. I hope he is worthy of your thoughtfulness, and returns the kindness. Getting an account here at the370Z.com is amazing.

When you take those photos, we will be happy to offer you our opinions on which ones to give him.:merrychristmas:

Bubbles 11-19-2010 09:43 PM

I just want to thank all of you! if I don't forget by christmas I'll reveal my identity and location :) I'll ask the significant other if I can share a pic or too if I am able to take those pics! Thanks mt. For the nice comments! :)

Here's another gift idea - the rear fog light and harness/switch from the Z store:
Fog Lamp
Harness and Switch
Costs more than the illuminated kick plates but, depending on the weather conditions where you live, this might be an excellent safety feature (not to mention being a cool accessory). Don't know why Nissan didn't offer them on the USA model Zs...

chuckd05 11-20-2010 06:07 PM

Glad Ur using my idea... Can't go wrong with them.

Was a gift from my Girl last Christmas. And I didn't ask for them either. She Just saw them at Nissan the day I picked my car up... Theyre easy to install too so make sure he doesn't pay anyone to put them in

I'm pretty sure his answer will be no. Lol..
