Deer collision
This past Tuesday going to work at 6AM a deer T-boned me on the right fender and passenger side causing $1,600 damage to my 2009 370Z. There is mild damage to the right tire rim, severe damage to the right fender behind the wheel well, moderate damage to the passenger door and some scuff marks on the side of the front bumper and underneath the door. On the recommendation of my mechanic for the past 20 years I have taken it to the best body shop in town that specializes in restoring high end cars such as Jag and Audi. I would welcome any advice on what to look for when I pick up the car in 10 days to ensure everything is properly repaired. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Sorry to hear about this!
But I am so glad you are fine!!! Things could've been worse so you shouldn't be too down and out about things! Just try not to think about it too much, you'll be fine bud.!

I wish deer would learn how to drive, who gave it a license?
Fortunately I don't think you'll be suspect to any hidden damage like with a regular car accident so paint match will be the most important thing.

Sorry to hear about what happened. I hope everything gets fixed, and before you drive off inspect every inch of the car, and make sure you have a warranty on the work in writing. Good Luck It could've been worse? |

Not the VDC.
Are paying for the repair or the insurance company? If the insurance what did they say, quote? Glad you OK!
