it is good. And not even to make the Z feel better. I just like driving as many different cars as I can when I get the opportunity. I like to feel the differences, play with new toggles and gauges, see how different the car feels in traffic, etc.

I think this is part of what makes someone an enthusiast. If you've ever looked at your buddy's junker with its keys in your hands and thought, "this'll be fun", you are an enthusiast. If you've been in that same spot and thought, *huff puff* "My car is better, so this will be bothersome", then you're an elitist. Note, the two groups often overlap.

lolz, I would do that, but I have been putting more of my time and money into my trucks performance, and dare I say I would be willing to bet in a straight line it would hang, if not beat, my Z.

With that said though, there is miller motorsports park right by where I'm living now and there is absolutely NO replacement for the feeling in the pit of my stomach as the Z takes a corner and hugs it. I have no regrets buying my Z just for the pure driving experience it gives me in the twisties. It is so much fun to through the car around and I have learned so much about performance driving since I bought it. I have driven a little bit of everything thats comparable to the Z and I still think that the Z is the best car for the money.

I for sure get that feeling, every new experience in a vehicle imo, is a great one.

True, coming out of a wheelie at 101mph in first gear tends to spoil a mans sense of speed on an everyday basis

Back in the day (yes, I am old), sports cars weren't expected to be muscle cars too. This concept is relatively new. I had a Triumph Spitfire that was lucky to do 0-60 in 12 secs and on an upgrade would lose speed in top gear. However, it could corner flat at any speed I dared drive. There was a whole generation of sports cars that raced inside different classes that had horsepower limits. Since my last sports car was a MR2 (which replaced my 240Z), which was big fun to drive as was the 240Z, neither car was a powerhouse, I was a little startled to see my 370 packing 332 hp. The 0-60 is plenty fast for me. I have the AT and it has a great downshift. If I floor it, I find myself over 5,000 rpm and the AT doesn't upshift until redline. Major fun.

I also agree that the car is going much faster than I think when I am not looking at the speedo. Typically, I find myself at 85 or 90 when I meant to go (cough cough) the legal 70. Taking turns at speed gets the heart racing. I keep waiting to feel understeer cut in and instead I just stick to the line. That is amazing! Yes, there are many faster cars. Lot's have better acceleration and top speeds. But for me, at least, nothing I have driven is more fun than my 370 (2010).
