^ to add some more info to that, Z28 has been the top dog in the past. The Z28 was born because they needed a race car to enter SCCA.

^ to add some more info to that, Z28 has been the top dog in the past. The Z28 was born because they needed a race car to enter SCCA. So It started out that the Z28 was the race car, and the SS was the mainstream car. I believe with the 1996+ cars they switched it so that SS was top dog.
So then (on the current model) they had the choice os using SS or z28 (no plans to do both in the close future), and they went with SS since it was a badge all chevy shoppers recognize. Last edited by frost; 03-26-2009 at 09:49 PM. |
