I know this conversation has been going on for years and I'm new to the mix but I finally got myself the Z and the first week I had to do a few suicide merges because of the incredible blind spot when merging right. I looked on forums for weeks and I already drive with the mirrors flared out so that isn't the problem. It was the blind spot to potential motorcycles or when merging left. Here is the solution!
