There's really no noticeable blind spot at all anymore. Buy a 2014 and don't worry about a thing man. The Z of today (2014) has better mirrors and windows then my daily driver....prius. Last edited by Youngwolf34; 09-05-2014 at 09:56 AM. |

anyone have a side by side comparison? i cant image why they would make it even bigger when the mirror was already obstructing view for left-hand turns. |

I have the one inch convex mirrors that I placed on the far bottom corner of both mirrors, have had them in all my rides therefore I'm used to them

I have Zoom Engineering mirrors. Works well. But if you rely on the heated mirror feature, you will no longer be able to use it. It is a convex mirror that fits over your stock mirrors.

I think they are bigger width wise but I could be wrong, I was just test driving so I didn't get out with a tape measure to find out. But I don't think I'm mistaken.

Really? Hmmm. I wonder if they are convex?
I'll have to take a look. I have not had any issues with blind spots. Either I drive too fast to have any car in there long enough or I used the information provided to properly adjust my mirrors.

I have the zoom engineering mirrors, they help a lot and look good, they also have a slight blue tint to help at night

I used to need blind spot mirrors until I realized having a bad driving habit.
Long story short: I used to position my side mirrors in a way, that showed my car's body when looking in them. I eventually figured out this was sorta of silly: if something was that close to me, there'd be no way to avoid it. I now position my side mirrors, where they don't show the body of my car, but would if I just moved them a centimeter over. Poof. No more blindspots. I know that doesn't work for everyone, but I think I'm not the only person who positions their mirrors in a way that "shows too much of your own car" in them. |

Looking at their website it says this: "Note: These mirrors were designed for RHD vehicles, which come convex on the driver side. LHD vehicles will require extra double sided tape on the passenger side to cover the gap in between (extra tape not included). Failure to use proper mounting may result in the mirror becoming disconnected, causing damage to the mirror." Did either of you have any issues since this kit is for RHD? Here's the link I think? I can't comment on the comparison with earlier models, but my 2014 definitely has blind spots--at least for me. |
