There's really no noticeable blind spot at all anymore. Buy a 2014 and don't worry about a thing man. The Z of today (2014) has better mirrors and windows then my daily driver....prius. Last edited by Youngwolf34; 09-05-2014 at 08:56 AM. |

anyone have a side by side comparison? i cant image why they would make it even bigger when the mirror was already obstructing view for left-hand turns. |

I think they are bigger width wise but I could be wrong, I was just test driving so I didn't get out with a tape measure to find out. But I don't think I'm mistaken.

I can't comment on the comparison with earlier models, but my 2014 definitely has blind spots--at least for me. |

Really? Hmmm. I wonder if they are convex?
I'll have to take a look. I have not had any issues with blind spots. Either I drive too fast to have any car in there long enough or I used the information provided to properly adjust my mirrors.

Leap of faith to push mirrors out all the way and it's good to go now. I always set mirrors to see a little bit of the car in driving so I had to go out a little further and tada. For backing up I would recommend a back up camera. No more backing out on faith.

OK... I just set my mirrors all the way out. I've had the little round stick-on blind spot mirrors on for a year or so now and they work OK for me. I'm gonna see how I like the mirrors set out like that. In one afternoon of driving around like this I've noticed I can still see the side of my car in the little blind spot mirror but see other cars in what used to be the blind spot in the much larger side view mirror. I'm gonna stick with this a while and see if I like it. So far so good.

Has anyone talked about reversing out of a parking spot? Its worse than the blind spot issue.
I cant see crap when backing out of a space. I always fear I might get rear ended. |

Here's an option. Zoom Engineering.
I use my OEM mirrors pretty well but it has its limits. The car has a blind spot. This one eliminates it. Viewing angle is wide and it's blue. [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]()
