I keep mine inside a cloth sun glasses bag in the middle cubby. I hate the sound of loose change in the car...

Can't have loose change rattling around. I bought a small zippered change pouch at Target ($3.00) for meter money and I keep it in the front center cubby hole (no nav), together with my cell phone and garage door opener. It's perfect. Sunglasses rest inside the armrest compartment in a Ray-Ban case (no noise from them, either). Everything's organized and just perfect----except for the winter weather that will arive too soon to end my fun until April.

Yeah, I like to hold my passenger's cups too, especially when she's wearing a low-cut top.... Oh, wait, you meant... Nevermind.

I keep a few dollars worth of coins, mostly quarters in a plastic 35mm film container (remember those ?) in the console. With a dial type air pressure gauge, and extra pair of sunglasses along with my cell phone which I almost never use. A folded up microfiber towel on top of it all keeps things from rolling around. You never know when you'll need quarters for a parking meter or coin operated air gauge. You guys who never carry cash or rely on your debit cards for everything are going to be crying like little girls when the time comes that your plastic is no good for one reason or another.
