Found a car "louder" than ours...
A Dodge Caliber we rented for a drive up the coast (had to bring the kids, else I would have brought the Z).
Now, I don't mind the "aural stimulation" of the Z, but I noticed this Dodge was LOUD. I'd think driving the Z for ten hours straight would be a bit tiresome, but gads - my ears were bleeding after a few hours in the Caliber. NM that I couldn't really understand the radio...

Yes, road noise. I took a peek into the engine compartment and saw the 4-cylinder engine "jammed" into the 6-cylinder compartment. LOTS of open space, you could look right down onto the pavement. Now, I know there's an SRT-6 version of this (could be nice), but they could've placed the engine in there better. Oh, and the wire leading to each of the spark plugs along the fuel rail: bare wire with a little electrical tape around it. I was wondering if someone was screwing around with it...
The larger version, Nitro, was also a disappointment as a road car. But driving around my sister's subdevelopment in a few open lots, it was pretty decent as an off-roader.
