Whats the best way to haggle with car ins. for worth of a car? I've looked up KBB which has the Z listed at roughly 32-34k (private seller and dealer)

car worth vs. ins co.
Whats the best way to haggle with car ins. for worth of a car? I've looked up KBB which has the Z listed at roughly 32-34k (private seller and dealer) but craigslist has them selling used for 27-29k. Just wondering the best way to get the most value for my car.

KBB has been off the past few years, at this point a 2009 will be sold for sub 30k even a fully loaded with low miles.
When looking at craigslist, ebay, etc. you have match features. Many times I see a 370z for sale with touring/navigation or touring but no sport package, good price drop.

You can't really haggle -- they go by the black book value. That's the "true" value of the car.
Black book is always way lower than KBB or the NADA yellow book. If you ever want to make a car dealer wince, walk in holding the black book

Black book is a paid site to get access to.
It basically has all the prices of how used cars are selling, auction sales, etc.

That is the book that they used at the auctions! They have tried that $hit when I have traded a car. I have told them "This is NOT an auction".

BB lists wholesale prices for the various conditions/mileage of the car. The dealer selling price is the retail price. Let the haggling begin.
