Considering the tires are summer tires, that's good advice. Of course, I bought mine in November '09, so I should just STFU

I'm betting that if you can last 26 years with a woman than you probably already know the answer to your question.

I have a hard time believing that you'd choose a car over your wife's happiness, but I also have a hard time believing your wife would leave you if you got a car...unless you're putting a financial strain on your family.

I want the car now. I've been looking at used 911's, Caymans, used Corvettes, then I came across t Z.

Do I wait the month or risk 26 years of marriage?
I think your wife is smart. Wait a month and if you still want it, buy it.

Excercise a little restraint. This is pathetic.

it was 10-18 when you posted this, have the paperwork done and get the Z you want with the options you want on 11-18 at 8am or whenever your dealer opens. shop around you'll be glad you did. i got my Z as a 09 left over that never sold due to the upcharge for the paint. i was initially going to get the first one i saw but waited and got the Z i wanted at a much lower price.

You might as well wait until March, driving season is practically over. You'll save a little on depreciation and may even get a better deal. Dealers are really hot to sell sports cars come early spring especially if they've been sitting on it all winter long.

I really hate to admit it but your wife is right, even if it is for the wrong reasons.

I think she is right for the right reasons. The OP is obviously VERY impulsive and she wants him to wait a month to see if he still likes the same thing. The woman has a good handle on him it sounds like and he is lucky she puts up with him.
