I was just thinking that. Who in their right mind would crash a Z just to find out it's not as safe as a Volvo but safer than a Smart Car -- sheesh we already know this...

I actually had a small discussion with my insurance company about this.

After going from my RSX-S to a 370z, my insurance rate dropped. I wondered why and asked.

I was informed that the 370z had better crash test ratings than the RSX-S that is why the insurance was cheaper.

Interesting as when I first joined the forum my wife and I were among the first to actually have a Z here. Somewhere buried in the posts you will find how AAA didn't even know how to insure the 370Z when we first brought it home. There were a few days where AAA had to arrive at a dollar amount for the insurance premium. AAA's reason? There were no crash ratings.

They seem to bounce around on model and makes, they do not test models consecutively.

Since we know this was a 370Z, is more known? What did this fellow do? I see a gradual right turn coming up and he just oversteered? Was something on the track? Did he get bumped? He kept it pointed straight.
