Default Wrecked my Z today

I was driving down the highway in the fast lane doing about 80 when all of a sudden there was a full size friggin truck tire in the middle of the road(no rim just tire)I swerved but it was too late I hit it on the right front of my bumper and hit it hard I pulled over to expect the worst but after getting home and taking off the bumper it only cracked the paint on the bottom but it also went down the side and cracked the paint on the rocker moulding and mud flap.
I cleaned it off the best I could you can't tell unless you get close, but I was surprised how well it held up I really smashed that tire,I am really not that mad b/c I work in a body shop so to fix it won't cost me anything.

Sucks to hear but I wouldn't call that a wreck.

Is your Legend a coupe or sedan? I've owned 2 coupes and 1 sedan. Pretty badass cars, way ahead of its time.

When you hit a full size truck tire @80 you let me know what you think after you have done that.

My Acura is a sedan it has been a great car for the last 3 years that I have owned it.

There really isn't anything that in a pic that you would see.

Yeah I feel you man it can be terrifying.. Just my definition of a wreck would be this:

YouTube - 350z crash

I am relieved that your car is not wrecked completely, it would have been a bit more depressing following the rash of recent wrecks. That is awesome you work in a body shop, I can only dream about all the stuff I would be able to do!

I had a similar experience. About eleven the other night, traveling 55 mph. on hwy. 1, I had a split second to react to a 10 ft. aluminum construction ladder lying in the center of the road. I credit my coilovers and sways for saving me. I turned around to get it off to the side. Too late. It took out much of the front end of a F-150.

For some reason, I thought of Crocodile Dundee...

very sorry to hear, 2 other members have wrecked(read: the car is not drivable anymore) just the past week so the title was a bit alarming, "another one?!". Glad you and the car are ok though.

I did the same....lucky for me I was in a honda prelude (more ground clearance than a Z) and the ladder was dead center of the lane facing the path of travel. little scrape under the car nothing more.

Glad to hear this wasn't as bad as the title suggests.

People are wrecking these cars lately and it's not fun to see.
