Someone Just Scratched my 4 day old Z

All the guys at work with nice cars have found a little corner of our parking lot where we all park during the day. Safety in numbers?

I know how you feel. The first day I bought my 350z I went to work right after I came back around an hour it was all keyed. Couple weeks ago my Camry got a pretty good sized dent in the bumper which costs me around $2000 in repairs.

haha I am in that group at my work I've had enough cars to develop an obsessive-compulsive disorder about parking. No door dings since Aug '07!

But at the same time, there are those ******** that just grind your gears...

Sorry to hear about that. There's a lot of have vs have nots around and then there's those that don't really give a rats a$$ about anything but themselves.

Two stories:

Years ago I was sitting in my outlaws car. My mother in law ran inside the store to grab something. As she was coming out she followed the person who was parked (Her car: POS-XL) next to us. The woman swung the door out and slammed it into our car leaving a nice mark. My mother in law saw this happen and asked the woman what the hell she was thinking. The woman's response, "Oh well, $hit happens".

The other story..
Two days ago, my wife went to a school function in her new Infiniti. She was standing in line and overheard the grown adult men in their 30s directly behind her say, "Must be nice to have such a nice car. Doesn't it just make you want to key the $hit out of it?"

Unfortunately, this is what’s out there. I can only imagine with the current economy, things may get worse. I’m just glad I can garage my cars to lessen the temptation. When you’re out and about, well, it’s the luck of the draw.
