I've been on this site for a while and it amazes me how many people post their accidents. Is posting it online the first thing you think about after the initial shock of the impact? I'm just really curious because posting my accident online would be the absolute last thing on my mind. Plus you get pages and pages of "sorry to hear that."

Or maybe after some people go through such a tragic event it helps to have others that own and love the same car give a little comfort. I think its a good thing. After reading this thread I will be looking out for the sliding more often since the temps are cooling down. Thanks for the warning guys

so what..he was just in accident and he turned out to be fine, all he can do is let the insurance do the rest. I dont see a problem posting that at all...other members post pics after they wash and wax their Z's! I think we all know what a clean Z looks like and most replies are, "nice pics" or "nice n clean"

When someone posts about buying a new Z, or getting a certain aftermarket part or doing the mod themselves, we as fellow members of the 370Z community congratulate and celebrate with the poster. So, if someone decides to share not so happy news, why would you not expect to see the same kind of support in the form of "sorry to hear that"?

By the way, does there seem to be a high number of "wrecked my Z" posts lately? I just came across 3 of them on the first page right now. What's happening guys and gals? Be safe.

OP...glad you're OK.

I'm going to be perceived as being insensitive but I was thinking the exact same thing. As if we need to acknowledge the fact that one of "us" has died.

Not saying this is the case here but I bet in most cases Z crashes happen because of the driver's silly wreckless driving. Follow the damn speed limits, drive safe & save us from having to see another crash thread.

Only 1K for airbags would be nice, but that's probably about a third of what it'd actually cost.

Sucks that it happen Gun, hope the shop you take her to understands that perfection is a requirement.

Also sucks that some people just like to piss in other peoples' Cheerios.

Maybe you are correct. I hope all heed your warning. I would think that slicks or worn tires might give you more grip in dry weather. Cold tires and cold weather are always an issue.

I hope the OP's damage is easily repaired and back on the road soon.

Reset/replace the module too. Seat sensor = no pass bag deployment
