Exactly! Just put em up! I got pulled over before for not having front license plate. I guess, I just got lucky because the cop let me go. It happened during the time I was taking photo of my WRX.
It doesn't look good, but it's really not worth spending time, unnecessarily, getting pulled over when it could easily be avoided. Last edited by RDGR12; 03-13-2009 at 06:13 PM. |

Trick
I have never had a front plate and I just take the plate and attach it to the front bracket and throw it across the pavement face down. Keep it in the trunk and when you get pulled over, if they hassle you just show the plate (now scratched like it skidded across the pavement) and say that it fell off and you havent put it back on yet... has worked for me so far... And I have blacked out windows and taillights...

Since the drilled holes on in the black plastic portion of the bumper it should be too hard finding plugs for the holes even if you did mount the license plate holder. Bumper Plugs will not fit as they require 1/4" holes or smaller.

I will never disgrace my front bumper on this car with an ugly plate. My wife never had a plate on her boxster from day one (it's a 99) and never got pulled over for no front plate.

We make a removable front license plate bracket for this exact reason. It connects to the front factory tow hook, and is extremely secure.
Also allows for very easy fitment that can be removed at any point. I thought we added the application, but apparently we didn't, I'll fix that on Monday, but the G37 bracket fits the 370Z.. STILLEN : STILLEN Front License Plate Bracket |
