Need help picking out my new Z, also, prev 350 drivers would like your input.

Hey guys, just joined the site and have started doing my research on the 370. I've owned several 300ZXTT's and am just getting out of my modded 350.

First question to any of you who switched from the 350 to the 370, what do you think? Love it? Does it seem smaller?

I'm currently trying to decide between a 2009 Nismo or the sports package.

I've read that the Nismo is very rough and stiff and not much faster despite the extra 18hp.But I like the fact that so much is already done to it. I don't have the time and money to sink into a body kit..so that's a big pro to me.

If I were to get the 370 w/ out Nismo, I know I'm going to want to change it up some with a bumper etc...

Anyway, just wanted to vent with my current situation and see if anyone could make some suggestions.

Every person that had upgraded from the 350z to the 370z had complimented that the car is so much better than the previous generation. I'm sure you will find that to be true as well. I did not come from the 350z, so I couldn't not give you much more input on that. The Nismo is close to 40k and the Base with Sports Package is closer to 30k. This depends if you want to fork out an additional 10k for the Nismo or not. The price of the vehicle is also dependant on your negotiation with each dealership.

The 370 will be a major upgrade over your 350. Unless you had a 2004.5. That car was F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S.

to the OP, i came from a 350z, and although the the 370 is a tad smaller its roomier and waay more comfortable in the inside. The interior is a huuge upgrade. Along with performance, handling, looks(subjective)...My only regret is that i didnt trade sooner. Its weird for me, i kinda hate 350's now even though am a Z guy...looking back the 350z was just such a let down/disapointment when compared to the 370Z....just my .2

I came from an 05 350Z and the first thing you will notice is the throttle response and how light the steering wheel feels. By no means are these bad, the 370z is a big step up from my 05 in so many ways. But you will notice the bad things first, which is natural. But I still miss those two features to this day, and I've had it for almost a year. Other than that, things like the speedo and how good the stock exhaust sounds, you'll get over. The grip, handling, quality, and overall power increase will put a smile on your face. Good luck! Be sure to let us know when you get your new Z!

+1.....but I came from a 2004.5 G35c 6MT loaded, (miss it!!!)

Maybe you should go drive a Mustang 5.0 and save yourself the trouble of buying a Z, then selling it for the Mustang. We've had a lot of douches members do that already.

I actually drove a base a little while back, i thought it handled excellent. It didn't WOW me with power coming from my modded 350. Don't flame me for that...just stating what I thought. Also, the drive I took wasn't a very long one. Going back today to take a much longer one
