I had an '05 and the 370 is a huge upgrade IMO. No rattles, I think it feels "more secure" when I'm driving. Tighter fitting seats (or maybe I just fill them out more ).
The only thing I miss from the 350 is paint color. I had Daytona Blue and loved it. The Nismo is not really going to give you much more "oomf". It's built with better handling, etc. More track friendly. Gopher it. Don't be scurred. |

If your 350 is old, I would say go for it. If your 350 is in great shape, don't waste your money. The difference is small enough that it isn't worth the $15K (of course some of you guys are loaded, so it doesnt matter)

I came from an 05 350Z and the first thing you will notice is the throttle response and how light the steering wheel feels. By no means are these bad, the 370z is a big step up from my 05 in so many ways. But you will notice the bad things first, which is natural. But I still miss those two features to this day, and I've had it for almost a year. Other than that, things like the speedo and how good the stock exhaust sounds, you'll get over. The grip, handling, quality, and overall power increase will put a smile on your face. Good luck! Be sure to let us know when you get your new Z!

Spending 10k more for a kit and some basic improvements prolly is a bit much. I think you'll be happier getting a good deal on a sport pkg and putting that 10k in better mods.

i am a recurring G owner but have driven both 350and 370z often. the only things i felt thats better in a 350z was better color pallette and initial low end torque. from 0-30mph it felt like the 350 pulled a little harder. mid-high end torque on the 370z is much harder on the 370 though. handling, steering feel and overall quality is way better on the 370 too.

I had a modded 350 also. My dad loves the 350, but the 370z isn't as shaky as the 350 was. The Nismo had about the same design I wanted a kit to be put on the reg Z, so that worked out fine.

I had a 05 350. The 370 is a big improvement in every area. imho.
but from what i've read on this forum imo,the biggest improvement would be the tranny. the 7AT is a major upgrade from the 5AT in the 350. it almost passes as a manual.... where as the manual in the 370 wasn't as a big change, not counting SRM. Sports package will be the best 3 grand you spend................ also you can upgrade from the 350.com forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I came from a burnt orange 350 Track Edition. I would love to have had some better color choices in 2010. I have heard for 2011 they are adding another grey color The 370 is an all around better handling car. More planted and feels way more responsive in the curves. The stock power is also much better, but I intend to do an SC kit once the two vendors get them all figured out. The interior is three or six steps up from the 350 as well. Just a great evolution of the brand.

I had a friend with a 350, and I have driven several 370's. The 350 had some dumb bar in the trunk. It looked like the interior was made out of left-over GM Avalanch body-kit parts, and it creaked horridly. It was driven by a college girl only on nice paved roads and had about 60K miles on it.
The 370 I drove looks like someone at Nissan subverted a shipment of interior components to BMW, it rides like a chunk of billet, had no rattles at all, and had enough thrust that coming from a 350Z with full bolt-ons, you would still feel an upgrade. Stock/Stock there is no comparison. The only things I didn't like are the crappy clutch and numb steering feel. Just didn't have much feed-back from either of those devices compared to my Trans Am. Sorry to compare it to a TA, but that is the only other stock car I have owned with 300+hp and a 6-speed. I don't care what people here say, I think the 40th's paint-scheme is the bomb. I love the metallic gray/red interior combo. There is no accounting for taste. I also like the stock rims on the Z. They look great to me. |

I came from an 05 350z. (Seems like alot of people here have )
The 370z drives like a sports car, the 350z looks like a sports car. The 370 is much more powerful and a better handling car (stock compared to stock). The 7AT is a huge upgrade over the 350 AT. One negative is the throttle is weird in the 370, feels overly stiff and has an annoying delay. The 370 has more road noise in rear wheel wells, but is sealed better (at the windows) and not as creaky as the 350. Much nicer interior, although I do miss the eyeglass holder. Also the 350 had those cool through the wiper window washers and individual tire pressure readouts. But this stuff is easily forgotten. The loss of the rear window wiper is a plus as far as I'm concerned. I always hated the tear drop bubble shape in the 350's design at the cockpit which the 370 removes. Nice! |

I actually drove a base a little while back, i thought it handled excellent. It didn't WOW me with power coming from my modded 350. Don't flame me for that...just stating what I thought. Also, the drive I took wasn't a very long one. Going back today to take a much longer one |
